I felt he identified the pertinent issues which needed immediate attention, and made the appropriate referrals. It is my perception that he knows what he's doing, and that he cares about my wellness.
Dr. Whitson is like no other doctor I’ve had, and I wouldn’t ever go back to the fast-paced, crowded, impersonal providers I’ve had in the past. He is honest, sometimes blunt, and has a dry sense of humor. He always listens to my concerns and if he doesn’t have immediate answers, he’ll go back to his office or check on his iPad for the most recent information. I went in there with a specific health problem (extremely common as well) that needed addressed very quickly. After he made it clear that he had never heard of it, he preceded to tell me that it wasn't really what my other doctor had told me it was (definitely not true) and I had to argue with him to get a referral to a surgeon. The facility was very unprofessional and unsanitary. I was extremely unimpressed. His only perk is that it is very easy to get an appointment with him, but I will definitely not be going back.
Always get an appt within 48 hours. Dr. returns urgent after hours calls. Dr. takes enough time with me . I don’t feel rushed out of the office.
Threatened to deport me for speaking Spanish and asked me for a green card. This poor man does not know born citizens can have black hair and speak Spanish. Doctor, I'm sorry your life is so dull that you have to treat total strangers so poorly to make yourself feel better. 90% of my Spanish speaking family lives in this area. I will make sure they spread the word about our conversation. May you live a long life to see ALL races thrive in this country that isn't only yours.
DR.Whitson has made me feel great about my care,he is very easy to approach, I'm very comfortable discussing my health with him.never awkward.
