I had two wonderful psychiatrists in this area for 40 years. Both are currently retired. I tried Dr. Steinberg and was extremely disappointed by his mannerisms and lack of perception. He didn't listen to me. He made me very uncomfortable and focused on something totally irrelevant to the reason I was there. I didn't have the kind of connection I had with my previous doctors. I feel Dr Steinberg gave me my life back. I'm going on 6 years seeing him. I never regret changing doctors, He's so very knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest information on chronic major depression. Very well-informed. Compassionate and thorough, I never feel rushed and he will answer any questions thoughtfully and fully.
Saw Dr. Steinburg some time ago for awhile. tried to get back in and was turned away. Was told that I may have missed an appointment when inquiring about coming back or something like that. He was helpful back then and I don't understand being turned away. today. For whatever their reason was...he must understand that I am after all, a psyche patient lol. Oh well.
Dr Steinburg is the first Dr that I found that I can trust... He listens and understands.....
