I had Achilles Tendon and heel reconstruction done by Dr. Kulwin. After putting it off for years the excruciating pain and discomfort finally got to me. After having surgery and aftercare went very smooth and I no longerhave pain nor limp. He commented that he had never removed so much calcium buildup from an injury. I would definitely recommend him for any type of foot surgery.
I had a severe break of my right foot and was blessed to be under the care of Dr Kulwin and his team. Doc K. explained every step in the months long treatment process - from surgery to physical therapy to final checkup. Sorry, but I did not have such a good experience with Dr. Kulwin. I went to him for bunion surgery and hammertoe repait. He messed up both toes. My bunion is worse now than before the surgery. It is is starting to cross over the floppy hammertoe. The titanium screw broke inside my foot and is still there. I trusted that he being a Harvard grad that he would be on top of his game.
