Dr. Knowlan did my father in laws knee replacements along with a number of other public safety professionals. I was referred to him after an injury to my knee and also saw hip after having hip pain. He found the problems immediately unfortunately, I was unable to have him fix the issues due to not needing a replacement but rather arthroscopic surgery. Great doc, down to earth and easy to speak with...not stuffy!
I had a hip which had to be replaced and when I consulted with Dr. Knowlan, I felt assured that the surgery would be fairly easy and successful. It was. I had a quick recovery and went back to my life. I would not hesitate to see Dr. Knowlan if I ever have another orthopedic issue.
Made a post op error starting a cascade that ended up leaving me with chronic pain. He doesn't know if I ever walked again. One time made me wait til the last appointment time, despite the fact I was on time for my 3:45 pm appointment. Then was putting his coat on and packing his brief case, obviously not interested in my care. He was done dealing with me.
