My son has been a patient of his for years. Over that time, he has always exhibited kindness, compassion and knowledge that many his pediatric ophthalmologists lack. Even when he no longer accepted my insurance, I chose to pay for him.
Updating my review post appointment -- The doctor is very good, friendly and very thorough. My previous post was due to frustration with scheduling the appointment, Not sure about the doctor but the people who are managing appointments are rude and non caring for their patients. I had an appointment scheduled on June 17th and it was canceled because the doc could not make it. When I called up to reschedule I was only given the option to reschedule a months from now. When my eye doctor retired, I went to 3 different ophthalmologists … found Dr Auerbach at my children’s eye doctor … thank goodness… Dr Auerbach is kind patient and caring … addressed all my issues and glad I finally found a great eye doctor!!! Highly recommended
Not sure about the doctor but the people who are managing appointments are rude and non caring for their patients. I had an appointment scheduled on June 17th and it was canceled because the doc could not make it. When I called up to reschedule I was only given the option to reschedule a months from now. I told them it was not my fault for the appointment to be canceled and asked for the re-appointment in a few days or following week. The response was that all is booked. No apology whatsoever.
