Dr. Peri is a very personable guy, but put so much mercury in my mouth I was sick for years afterwards. He doesn't seem to be up on the safest treatments. Perhaps he has has changed by now, but when I saw him 10 years ago, all I got were more fillings to replace old fillings, which he drilled out with no protection.
I like going go Dr. Peri's office. Staff is courteous, caring and amiable. Appointments are on time. Having Dr. Peri as my dentist for over 36 years I am confident that I get the best practical treatment available, not state of the art (which means unproven) or experimental. I now have 7 crowns and have had one particular crown for 15+ years w/ no sign of leakage or looseness. He put a gold crown next to an amalgam filling. This is a horrible mistake. Putting one metal next to a different metal causes current to flow and more important causes mercury in the amalgam to be released. After he did this, I found I had high levels of mercury vapor in my mouth. Whatever the cause of the mercury in my mouth, as soon as I found out about this mistake (putting two different metals together) I switched dentists.
Dr. Peri is the best dentist I have ever had. He doesn't go in for those weekend seminars to increase his profit. He has always refered me to top of the line people for other procedures. He explains everything so that you can make the best decision with his help. He runs a very ethical clinic.
Dr. Peri and his staff are excellent and professional. My only complaint is that they accept very little insurance carriers so that I am forced to pay out of pocket and then bill my insurance directly. This is an inconvenience, but worth it for the care I receive from this office.
