This week marks one year since Dr. Ames walked into my room and told me he just finished looking at my mri and described what he could see. My root nerve had been caught up in the flow of a herniated disc and was causing pain so severe I could not stand, sit or walk. The most important thing he said was "I want to take you into surgery and I think I can get you walking again" and that's exactly what he did. DOCTOR ROBERT AMES stands head and shoulders above ANY AND ALL doctors I've EVER experienced! His staff are the gold standard, for how ALL medical team members could (and should) care, for their patients. THANK YOU DOCTOR AMES & TEAM!! The attached selfie was taken, at my 3-month, post lumbar decompression surgery, follow up visit, with DOCTOR AMES. It was taken, right after the hug we shared, which brought tears, of thanks, to my eyes. Med-schools cannot teach the patient skills that DOCTOR AMES delivers - it's in his soul.... read more
