I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Bob Abel. Terminating clients without providing appropriate referrals is not only unprofessional but also puts their mental health and well-being at serious risk. Mental health care should prioritize continuity and support, especially during transitions, and this standard was not upheld in my case.

after the FIFTH time entering my insurance and Dr. Abel giving completely unhelpful, inert responses to my queries as to why it was happening and getting a SIXTH request by the automated system, I gave up. Don't waste your time.

My daughter loves Dr. Abel. After several disastrous and abortive experiences with other psychiatrists, we found him, and he was great -- practical, down-to-earth, committed, and insightful. My daughter feels comfortable with him, and he has been tremendously supportive.

This guy has very limited knowledge I highly doubt if his knowledge stayed in last century and never learned anything new. Be aware that he is only a nurse practitioner not a psychiatrist with a PhD or MD. Moreover he is very rude!!! He is arrogant, thinks he is doing the right choice for you while he is actually just wasting your time. If you want to get more depressed then talk to him 🙄️ The way he talks sounds super judgmental and he clearly doesn’t have empathy
