For years I brought up concerns of adhd and speech issues. He made me feel like I worried too much. Nope. Turns out I was right. Later got diagnosis once our new pediatrician referred us to a specialist. Missed out of years of therapy, early intervention, etc due to his cluelessness.
We loved the time we spent bringing our kids here and really miss Dr Henry. A great caring attentive doctor.
If I could rate his intelligence, he'd get 5 stars. Sadly, I think his intelligence and "book smarts" cloud his ability to share information with parents without coming across as condescending. Something as simple as a common cold turns into what feels like a lecture about the biology of what is happening and why antibiotics are necessary. Maybe a new mom would value this, but once you've had multiple kids you know when to bring your child to the doctor.
