2 knee scopes, 1 knee replacement, and 1 hip replacement. All were great. Other knee replacement is scheduled.

Dr. Hartman replaced my knees 6 wks apart 12 years ago. Absolutely no problems following surgeries. He previously took care of my torn achilles, 2 arthroscopies. He has also done 4 rotator cuff surgeries. Dr. Hartman is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon & I highly recommend him.
I first saw Dr Hartmann when I was informed by the VA that I needed knee replacement. At the time I was not really ready to face knee surgery, so I told him I would wait on it for now. He informed me that the pain would eventually get worse and to come back and see him when I reached that point, because I definitely needed the knee replacement. All 8 surgeries Dr. Hartman preformed on me had wonderful outcomes. Minimal pain, minimal length of surgery time. I have recommended him to relatives & friends.
I had shoulder surgery in 2010 performed by Dr Hartman. After having pain and limited mobility, his surgery left me not only pain free, it also restored mobility. I trust him and will continue to see him for any orthopedic issue that I may have in the future.
Scheduled appt to see Dr. Hartman, saw his PA, was told only would see Dr. Hartman if surgery was needed. If I knew this going in, would have scheduled with a different provider!!
I went to Dr. Hartman due to issues in my knee and shoulder. He recommended surgery on both based on x-rays. Neither surgery ended up being an accurate diagnosis going in and therefore the results were not what was anticipated. The shoulder not only need rotator cuff surgery but Hartman missed the detached bicep which had reattached incorrectly. The hip surgery was an even bigger nightmare. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hartman. He took the time and gave several options as to when to do surgery. Both surgeries went extremely well, recovery was half the norm. If I had another surgery it most certain would be with Dr. Hartman.
