We purchased a camper from Robert Handy Camping Center . My husband called to ask questions about the warranty. He spoke with Rob and the conversation did not go well. I called back to ask if they could fix our problem. I was very calm and said nothing out of the way. I told him that we just needed it fixed and if they could fix we would pay for it. We drove almost 4 hrs from Va. to look at a Motörhome these guys had on consignment and could not have been more pleased . Robbie stayed late on Friday evening for us to get a quick peak at the motor home and gave us suggestions where we could stay the night and get a good meal which turned out to be awesome , They were very helpful on Saturday getting the deal finalized and getting us on the road . Driving by we saw the open sign on and decided to try to support what looked like a small, local business. I walked in to see an older man and woman reclining behind a desk in the corner. I smiled and told them I came in to check the place out and buy a few things. The response, “well we’re about to CHECK OUT. Honey, we close at 5 o’clock” was not the greeting I expected. I have camping dealers & service within 15 minutes of my home, but I drive an hour & a half to do business with this place. Very helpful. Great advice. Gladly ships out supplies I order if I don't want to drive 3 hours round trip.
