Best ortho I know as an RN. Dr Hancock has completed 2 total shoulder replacements on myself and done rotator shoulder surgery and acl Repair on my husbands knee. He listens and is a very compassionate physician.
He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and a great surgeon.
I am a retired healthcare practitioner so I know what the standard of care is. Dr. Hancock exceeds expectation. He's an excellent communicator, caring physician and skilled surgeon. He has an excellent staff. I would highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.

My experience with Dr Hancock and the entire staff at Piedmont Orthopedics in Athens was more than I could have asked for!! Dr Hancock was thorough in his explanation of my problem and open & honest that I needed to be referred to a more specialized surgeon. His compassion & caring was greater than words could explain!! The entire staff from check in to check out were professional, kind & courteous!!
