So happy I made one last call and found this place. I called a few places to get a ring resized, I decided to go with this place hearing Andrew explained everything so well and professional. When we arrived we both felt so calm knowing how knowledgeable Andrew is. Of course, we had a good laugh on how wrong I got the ring size, around 5 sizes to big, but as you can see from the photos it looks like it was made the right size the first time. I recently had a ring resized and couldn’t be happier with the result. The workmanship was excellent, and the ring now fits perfectly while still looking exactly the same as before. After being told by a different jeweller that it likely wouldn’t be possible to modernise my grandmother’s engagement ring using the original materials (and even trying would cost $6000), I went to Robert H Parker and Sons to get another opinion. Not only was he confident that he could remake it with the original materials, but he was able to look at the ring and tell me its history (it had already been remodeled once before in the 70s).
