Always professional and informative. Dr. Carter was very friendly and gentle. I never felt a shot! My children loved him and his staff. My family and I will miss him very much...don't think I'll ever find another dentist like him.... I am the third generation in my family to use Dr. Carter.

Dr. Carter fixed all of my teeth in 1978 while I was a junior in high school! He had to put one gold crown in and it’s been almost 40 years and I have never had any problems with it! Excellent Dentist and great to visit with and we had a lot of Razorback discussions!!
Our daughter is a Lyon College student and needed to have a chipped tooth repaired. Our Fort Smith dentist called the state dental board to give us a referral! What a blessing. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very accommodating and very kind to us! Our daughter loved Dr Carter! Thank you so much for your care!

Yes Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office? Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen! Was the provider's staff helpful and knowledgeable? Yes Was the rinsing sink clean and did they have disposable cups and mouthwash for you to use? Absolutely
Called to dispute insurance discrepancy. HERE is what happened.... I was charged out of pocket amount for composite fillings the previous day. When confronted, Jody receptionist said I misunderstood. I did not misunderstand because I was upset about it and even posted it to Facebook as I was in the dentist chair. I even called my husband. My husband came in. Entire staff involved-receptionist, new dental hygienist, older dental assistant lady; all told us we WERE NOT COVERED by our insurance for COMPOSITE FILLINGS . I couldn... read more
I have been going to Dr Carter for thirty-three years now. The services are wonderful. The environment is relaxing. You do not have to wait hours to be seen. All the staff is so sweet. Making appointments are so easy.
