Dr Sanford is wonderful! He was my first rheumatologist when I was 17 and diagnosed me. When I went to college about 20 years ago I still made the 5 hour drive home to see him. He's wonderful and truly listens. He did not put me on any meds that would cause me to be unable to have children if I wanted them in the future. I'm so glad for that because I'm a mom now. My personal experience here has been so bad, I am considering filing a formal complaint with the medical board. After telling me for 3 years that I had rheumatoid and needed to “accept (I) have a disabling disease” and manipulating me to take methotrexate (saying he was only willing to fill out my FMLA paperwork if I would agree to take the drug), he did a complete 360 when I went in to request trying Enbrel (after i told him the drug was working, but it made me too sick to stay on it), saying “I don’t want to start you on a... read more
