I have been seeing Dr Feehs after being diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma and subsequent surgery to have the tumor removed at age 27. Recently had 50% hearing loss in my one good ear due to Strep throat and an ear infection. They immediate got me in to see Kristen and immediately understood the severity of not being able to hear out of my one ear. She put me through a few tests and spent 15 minutes with me to discuss remedies. Two days later and some meds and I can hear again. What a relief and wonderful service from your s... read more
I guess surgery went well however my mom still having a lot of concerns - It’s been 3 days and Dr or staff hasn’t sent prescription to pharmacy in meantime My mom is offering with nausea and dizziness.. They say same thing everytime we call.. terrible and I will not be taking my mom there again..
Unprofessional, unhelpful, unresponsive -- the staff could use more than a littie training in how to deal compassionately and effectively with patients. I wish I had taken into account the several negative reviews about this particular medical practice before booking my first appointment. No real problem with the doctor, although I would have appreciated more time with him and more discussion of the implications of tests he ordered. Plenty of ENTS out there, and I will choose another one.
I highly recommend Dr. Feehs for cochlear implant surgery! His skills and experience as a surgeon are unsurpassed. He is genuinely concerned and empathetic of his patients needs. Learning to live and use an implant is a process. It takes time and practice. Dr. Feehs gives excellent tips on how to learn to use the implant to its full capacity. Shout out to the audiologist, Jennifer M.’s technical skills to help her patients get the most of their implants! The business and commutation personnel, Melissa W. is excellent thoroug... read more
Very poor experience. Dr. Robert Feehs paid little attention to overall health history in order to learn the cause of my childs hearing loss. During the initial visit we spoke more with his PA than him and he ordered bloodwork, tests and prescribed prednisone. We opted out of the $2000 genetic test kit, with no regrets. Out of the 4 appointments, he cancelled the morning of for two of them. The office didn’t give us priority on rescheduling, which was surprising, considering my child’s hearing was declining substantially, an... read more
A doctor who is working with people who are living with major health issues should be compassionate, caring, patient, and understanding. They should be tuned in to the way their office is set up-no dizzy carpet, no florescent lights, no loud voices of the office staff. Dr. Feehs bedside manner is terrible. He doesn't want to hear your story. He sees his patients as another problem to fix. He spent 10 minutes with me after I drove over and hour to see him.
I would never and will never recommend this doctor to anyone. I canceled my surgery 48 hours before, because I found an office that is actually responsive to their patients. He's probably a good doctor, but I won't deal with an office that cannot communicate to patients. After all, I am hiring him to perform a service. He's not G*d.
Awful, awful. His arrogance and self-importance gets in the way of addressing his patients' health.
Run, don't walk away from this practice. We had the WORST experience with Dr. Feehs who clearly is not in the business of caring for humans. Horrible. After spending thousands of dollars on an MRI and Catscan (which Dr. Feehs hardly looked at), we received absolutely no direction for our 12 year old son. We had to make an emergency appt; I pulled him out of school and took the afternoon off of work. Drove 1.5 hours (hit traffic), walked in 3 mins late and they said we had to reschedule.
