I saw Dr. Merritt to establish cardiology care. I expressed my concern and worry in having a potential stroke with the way I was feeling. He down played my concern and said my risk # is low. During my visit Merritt said hold on that he needs to check on something that he will be back. I waited for 15 minutes his assistant came in. I told her I am still waiting for Dr. Merritt as he said he would be back. She replied oh no, you are done, he is already with his next patient! Amazing doctor!
I have changed my review thoughts concerning Doctor Robert Merritt. My daughter had a stroke and on the 19th of February they admitted her to Mercy Hospital. Doctor Merritt is too busy to even visit his patients while they are near him in Mercy Hospital grappling with no use of their left side of the body. Talk about putting patients last.!!! Perhaps if doctor Meier had not retired and you doctor Merritt had not taken on Meier's patient load you could have given my daughter Robyn the proper attention. I guess money talks and... read more
