In a preliminary visit Dr. Nakken gave me very positive reference to the Xray information indicating deterioration of the hip joint due to arthritis and the benefits to be expected with hip joint replacement. I was pleased to hear it was not going to need therapy; that it was to be "same day walk-out" treatment. Subsequent to the surgery I have regained nearly full flexibility in the hip. 10 Months later, I still recommend anyone looking to do surgery with Dr Nakken to reconsider! I had a full knee replacement 9 days ago. The surgery went fine, BUT once I left the hospital, I felt left on my own and betrayed by person who said " let us know if there are any problems. Dr Nakken is not a friendly guy to start with, he didn't care who I was or much of my circumstance. He did care if I had insurance. Most relaxed I've ever been while waiting and then postoperative. The Doctors and the other professionals where friendly and calm yet moved quickly and with high quality. This gave me great trust so it was a pleasant experience. God bless y'all
