I would absolutely recommend Dr. Cywes to my family or friends. He is kind, caring, and skilled as a physician and surgeon. His bedside manner is exemplary, he is so patient and all our questions were answered. He is an asset to his profession!
Dr Cywes is a skilled doctor / surgeon who has changed lives for the better. He is knowledgeable and experience. He had a tireless work ethic working from the early mornings and well into the evening. Beyond his skill set and knowledge base, Dr. Cywes is terrific with his patients and does a wonderful job in explaining his recommendations and procedures.
Suffering from obesity my whole life!! Trying diet after diet - fail after fail - and then I heard someone explain my problem to me in a different way - I AM ADDICTED TO CARBOHYDRATES - not just because they taste good - but because I need them as an emotional outlet!! When I am bored, when I am stressed, when I cant sleep, etc. etc. - all of the same reasons why I would smoke a cigarette - I knew it was bad for me but I just couldn't stop - and this is how Dr Cywes helped me to help myself...
As a professional in the Obesity/Bariatric field, I have learned so much from Dr. Cywes. Not just watching his passion to help his patients, but truly understanding what the underlying causes of obesity are. I have watched him help thousands of patients learn how to help themselves. His continued commitment to serving the underserved in many communities in Florida are just one of the strong characteristics I admire so much.
Dr. Cywes is such a caring and compassionate doctor that I would recommend anyone go see him. He is an excellent technical surgeon, and I have had him do several small operative procedures on me in addition to dealing with my carbohydrate addiction problem. I have had excellent success by following his model and just talking with other patients in the waiting room, I know the others who have followed his advice have had similar successes. He is always available to his patients and cares so much!
Dr. Cywes is beyond an amazing doctor. I came to know Dr. Cywes in Sept. of 2006. He became my weight loss doctor as well as my doctor that saved my life that no other doctor could figure out as to what was happening to me. Dr. Cywes worked day and night to make sure I was at 100%. There truly is no other doctor in world like him. Thanks Dr. C. for everything you have always done to take care of me. Deana O-H.
He saved our 8 1/2 year old daughter's life when removing a 20+ cm malignant mass and 1/2 of her liver in 2015. We can't praise him enough! Very straight to the point and very good at what he does. Thank you Dr. Cywes!
I don't recommend this doctor for kids, maybe he is good with adults but with kids he is not the best doctor. He confused the diagnostic of my child and he did a treatment without having knowledge of the illness of my kid. definitely I don't recommend him for you son or daughter
He's awesome treats the mind then the body he really cares he shoots from the hip that's very refreshing because if need to see a bariatric physician you're at the end of the road No better physician great bedside manner's and spend the extra time nobody else would He's also available by Tex 24/7 unreal thank you for saving my life Chad
