Dr Robert Burnhum M.D. is a fantastic Orthopedic Knee Surgeon. He recently performed a left knee full replacement. He provided excellent education on the surgery, process and recovery. He listens to his patients and follow through on his promises. I followed his medical advice, physical therapy regimen and after 30 days back to normal. I wish my right knee replacement would have utilised Dr Burnhum but was completed in California. In addition, his medical and administrative staff top notch. For a change Dr. Burnham appeared to have more time allocated to us for questions and answers than we needed, rather than rushing us through the process. He explained the total hip replacement in easy to understand terms and would be someone to share a beer with. I just had my 2-week follow-up with Dr Burnham, the surgery went very well. He wanted to do it as out patient surgery so i could sleep in my own bed. However the Banner medical group kept me overnight saying that i needed to have physical therapy clear me.
