Dr. Brown performed a skin cancer screening for me after I still had concerns following a screening at another practice a few months earlier. I went in to have a small lesion checked and Dr. Brown immediately dismissed that lesion but called my attention to a small freckle I wasn’t concerned about. He decided to biopsy and it was Melanoma. He caught it early and was successfully removed. Quite literally, Dr Brown may have saved my life!!
I had to have Mohs surgery on my nose to remove a cancer. Dr. Schach had done a previous Mohs surgery on the side of my mouth. Both results are outstanding! I just knew I would end up with an ugly scar on my face and nose since both procedures had to be completed with about 12 stitches each.. Both have turned out so well, you wouldn't even know I had Mohs Surgery. So thankful for Dr. Schach and Ozark Dermatology here in NW Arkansas...
My wife and I have seen Dr Brown for a number of years for both routine skin checks and various other procedures and we've found him to be highly professional, thorough and responsive.
Dr. Schach dismissed a case I had as “dermatillomania” which is a neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by compulsive skin picking. I do not have this condition. He refused to swab or biopsy the site in question. He then recommended that I discontinue the medication I had been taking, which had helped dramatically, despite having no idea what caused my condition. I have been seeing Dr. Schach for quite a few years, at least 6. I highly recommend him in every way. He is professional, pleasant and appears to be very knowledgeable.
Careful and focused, he listens well and responds.
