Had surgery 12/26/2017 and was not pleased. Dr Brophy very impersonable and was in a rush to do surgery while saying “ it may not work”. It didn’t. Why choose that route if won’t work. Didn’t even see him the day of surgery before surgery only after. Knee pain 8 years later even worse as I sit wishing on MRI
Dr Brophy noticed my knee issue right away, he got me in for a surgical repair immediately. He was responsive, is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I recommend seeing him for your issues.
Its been 2 years after ACL and meniscus surgery, and my leg will never be the same. I've had 2 surgeries and they recommend another, drained it several times, put cortisone shots in it. The swelling never went away, and after a year and a half of physical therapy my quad never fired. Now when I walk my calf is on fire. Its more of a struggle mentally because I will never be able to do half of the things I could before.
