Needed a new dr with this peactice since my wonderful Dr Bizon retired. I was having breast pain when I saw Dr Barger. I wasn’t overly fond of his bedside manner, and then he did a super quick breast exam and said I had a “cyst or something”, and referred me to a surgeon for a biopsy. Scared me to death. I saw the surgeon the same day and he felt absolutely nothing abnormal. So I had a big scare just for fun, I guess. I will not be seeing Dr Barger anymore.
I've been a patient, of Dr. Barger's, for five years +. I never leave his office with unanswered questions. He's knowledgeable, compassionate and meticulous!
From the first day we met Dr. Barger we have loved him. This is our first baby, and I was so nervous to find a new doctor that I would be comfortable with. Not only is he a great doctor, but he is so easy to talk to about any questions I may have and not once has he ever made me uncomfortable or nervous. I had to be referred to a specialist (another dr I love, Dr. Alleire) because of my negative blood type and Dr. Barger was so good about explaining to me without terrifying me what was going on.
Dr. Robert Barger is by far the best GYN I have ever been to. He is not only professional, competent and reassuring but amicable allaying all your usual fears/anxiety of an oby/gyn visit. I highly recommend him and his office /tech staff. You can rest assured you made a good decision in choosing him.
