I was hoping to finally get some relief from bladder and bowel incontinence. Dr. Starr did a very thorough exam and I was sure I had found the right doctor. I was prescribed medication for my OAB plus a cream to improve vaginal tissue. He suggested taking a fiber supplement to help with my bowels and that he would follow up with a phone call after reviewing my previous tests done by another doctor. Dr. Starr completed my partial hysterectomy due to a prolapse uterus and other issues on 3/13/23. The surgery went well and he has been so attentive to any concerns that I presented. He was able to calm me down, focus on issues and resolve them with his professionalism. Dr. Starr brought normalcy to my life after repairing a prolapse uterus and I am forever grateful. Kudos to Se. Starr!!!!!
Did a bladder sling and made my condition 100% worse! Wish I never met him! Practice is unorganized. Now I have to seek another doctor to repair the botched surgery! Never return calls! Does the surgery and never follows up!
Dr. Starr did my complete Gynecologic reconstruction in 2002. With his expertise he repaired the damage I had from the birth of 4 very large children. I had procrastinated for years and lived in pain. Dr. Star was truly a blessing. I have been pain free for 18 years and don't have problems with prolapse that other women past menopause have. I would highly recommend Dr. Starr!!!
My wife was better off NOT having a surgery (that was to bring relief & improvement). After a follow up appointment, he justified the success of a surgery that ALL the other professionals we sought counsel had verified the failure of the surgery. My wife is not better, but worse after the surgery he was highly confident would be successful. He wanted nothing to do with my wife after the surgery. Sad & disappointing after we placed so much trust in Dr. Starr.
Professional, skilled, timely. Correctly diagnosed surgically treated my condition. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Starr was a good listener, very gentle, professional and cares about his patient. Ronda (nurse) was personable and knowledgeable. The day I was there she was doing the receptionist job and her job as nurse very well!
