Worst doctor I've ever been to. He is not helpful at all, he'll talk to you like you're stupid. I've asked him to do another EEG on my head because I haven't had one done in YEARS and he said "why? It will not show anything different than the last one." Save yourself the time and money and do not go to this poor excuse for a doctor.
In 1999 Dr Ringel treated me for viral encephalitis. When I really needed him he spent hours in neural ICU saving my life. So when you have to wait for routine care in his office consider this. I was alive to hike the entire Appalachian a trail in 2015 because of his emergency care. RESPECT!
One of the few specialists that actually listens to what you are saying. The staff is very personable and helpful. The only issue is that the office is very busy, and you usually have to wait some time.
Dr. Ringel himself is an amazing doctor and I'm sad to see him retire after 10 years of being a patient. The staff at his office are the absolute worst people I have ever encountered. They constantly lose paperwork, write down the wrong appointment time on cards, never send me bills but tell me I owe them, and are some of the rudest and most idiotic people I have ever encountered. I was always happy to see him but got so stressed every single time I had to deal with anyone in the office.
