Robbins electric did an excellent job installing a 7.2kwh solar system at my house. I got several estimates, five from SunPower and their knockoff companies. The most expensive was $34,000 for a 5.5 KW system, the least expensive was 20,000 for a 4.5 KW system. Robbin's electric was able to beat both estimates by quite a bit. I also had a couple estimates from two local private companies, one was quite expensive, the other wanted to change out my sub panel box in my shop and my 200 amp box of my house. Robbins Electric is Fantastic! Mike does it all. From CAD drawing the solar plans, getting required permits and doing the installations personally. Don’t go with a company that “sells” you a solar system then hands it off to someone else to install. Go with a true licensed and certified electrician who handles your job from start to finish. UPDATE: The company has moved out of state.
Everything sounded and looked so good at the beginning. Great reviews, conversations regarding customer service, design etc. Customer service always appears great when things go right. This company has showed what their true customer service is. Save your time and money and hire a true craftsman. Someone who knows and applies proper construction standards and business ethics. Total hack. Complete substandard installation of my system. His workers showed up reeking of party smoke. They had to borrow my ladder cause they didn’t have one. Commenced work without a permit even though I paid him specifically for it. I could go on and on about the multiple areas of substandard work practice and violations.
