My wife and I were staying in the area and were very lucky to find Robataya Oton. We sat at the sushi bar and did the Omakase Course. It was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. Simply amazing! Kenji and Daniel were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to visit again someday.

Anyone giving this less than 5 stars doesn’t know what they are talking about! This was on our want to go list for a few months until we spontaneously went on a Sunday, lucky to get a dinner reservation. We had the cucumber salad, tempura, udon noodles and lots and lots of sushi! The nigiri brought tears to my eyes, and I’ve had plenty of sushi. Suffers from an identity crisis. The menu makes no sense - it's a robata place without a robata menu. The main attraction seems to be raw fish but they serve izakaya appetizers too. It's clear from the fish quality that they have low turn over. The food was good but priced for a tier above what they offer.

Nice ambiance, some of the dishes were ok. Sushi was saved by the fish because the rice fell apart the moment I tried to pick it up. Overpriced for what they are offering.
