Love it! Not one to try new places but gals I did!
Just visited Robata Maplewood for the first time (on a date night with my husband) and had a truly inspired evening. We had been wanting to visit for, like, 2 years now but finally went tonight. Kelly, our server, was truly THE BEST. From the edamame to the sushi rolls, everything was delicious - the X-men packed a decent spicy punch, and the Volcano was divine. This tiny little place in Maplewood was sooo good! This place specializes in Ramen, sushi and Yakitori. I didn’t know what yakitori was and tried the braised short rib and it was sooo good. It’s basically bbq or kabob. I highly recommend this place. There may be a wait but it’s worth it. Yum! Great service and delicious food!
Very relaxing and good food. Perfect lighting and had great service
the tokontsu ramen was very bland. I had to add soy sauce to give it some flavor. The pork was not tender to where I can bite through it. I had to use my hand to tear it apart (it did have some flavor though) The egg just tasted soft boiled and not marinated.
RecommendedFrom the moment we walked in to the car ride home our experience was perfect. “OMG, Im stuffed... I can’t wait for leftovers tomorrow” and “wow I can’t believe we hadn’t been sooner”.
