Delicious dinner in such a pretty garden. Very different menu and we loved it. Love the English desserts - especially the sticky toffee pudding!

The food was fine, but the chef was very snotty. Food was very late coming out of the kitchen. Really no excuse for this as only a few people were in the restaurant. Later we ordered cappuccinos and they were stone cold.
A friend and I had lunch at Roast yesterday. I can honestly say it was one of the best lunches I have ever had anywhere in Sarasota. Between the two of us, we had pretty much flawless eating. Their portions are generous, The service is very pleasant, although it can be just a tad slow if you are not prepared for it. Their Parmesan truffle fries are magnificent.
