Service was lacking and the restaurant wasn't as clean as it could be but the food was outstanding.

Great service from Shawn, part owner. Great food, and super fun interactive dinner with my husband!

The server was good, the atmosphere was good. The vegetable selection was limited, in fact you didn't get to choose. I wish they had more greens. For the most part the broths lacked flavor, and to develop the flavor I poured in the table condiments (green onion, garlic, chili pepper) and asked for a side of soy sauce. I feel like they would benefit from changing the menu style so that you can make additions. Extra Tofu, Extra Carrot, Extra Cabbage sort of thing....

Terrible service, walked out, not going back, plenty of places to get hot pot.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Seattle! After moving here I looked for a few years to find a quality shabu shabu restaurant and was lucky enough to find Roaring Bowl. The food is wonderful (and large portions)! The service is fantastic! And the atmosphere is fun! Do yourself a favor and check it out.
