A little odd place, waiter was awesome, we were in a tornado warning and she let us know what to do and the precautions. The food was great. Best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. Wanted more

EDIT: Previous Score was 5 Stars. RSG has switched hands a few times and kept the same name. Giving it a 3 star for this iteration of RSG. Very limited menu now. Ordered corn nuggets as an app and wanted to try the brisket. Nuggets came out, no issue. The brisket came out was chopped brisket and smothered in sauce. The meat itself was very salty. We went there a day after the new owners reopened. So a true review would not be fair. It was tuff for them. The place seemed to be clean and the food was prompt and hot. We had the all you can eat catfish and it was quite tasty.
UPDATE: Boo so far for new owners of 2024. (Still unfortunately) Tried 3 times now, I’m a local. Menu is way smaller. (Posted the entire one page menu) Which I’m fine with as long as they would be good menu items! Unfortunately, that’s not what we found so far. I got the fish dinner for first review here. I could’ve eaten three times this amount fish and still been hungry. Maybe I eat too much? Maybe they thought I should cut back? cut was very thin and not very tasty.
