Trip advisor never lies! I see why this is the number one spot in Bastrop. Service was fantastic, appetizers came out perfectly timed with the main course and the food was excellent! Had a mushroom Swiss grilled chicken sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bun and bacon cheddar fries. The whole menu looked great though, so it was a tough decision. Will definitely make a trip back from Austin to try a burger.

Had a fabulous meal with friends yesterday. The food was excellent and the service was what you would expect from a top restaurant!! Will definitely make this stop again and again when going near Bastrop in the future.

Once again...AWESOME!
We have eaten at roadhouse several times. Usually for burgers Had breakfast a few times but will never go back. Had breakfast there last Saturday. Asked for crispy potatoes. Ended up with cold eggs and barely warm soggy potatoes. Told our server and I just love it when they ask "do you want something else". If I was happy with it I probably wouldn't of said anything. A better response to most of my plate being cold would have been "let me get you something else". She later did say I told the manager your food was cold. Guess... read more

I do enjoy me some roadhouse. I gave 4 stars because I wish it wasn't so crowded and I want a jalapeño crm chz burger the way they use to make them.
Excellent hamburgers and other food items from a varied menu we eat here every visit to Texas
A "Must do" when visiting Bastrop,Tx.
This is definitely not a vegan restaurant. Best hamburgers around.
Food was great. Their service fell flat. I think for the record they had a computer issue and maybe a new server. May or may not yet again.
