They charged me $8.00 to process a credit card?!? They seemed annoyed when I refused extra services and are constantly pushing their dental plan which is outrageous. Love my hygienist but will not be back.
I am only leaving this review because I feel it is important. This practice is more about a cash grab and less about dentistry. They are constantly pushing un-needed products and their insurance practices are sketchy at best. They are constantly reminding you about utilizing unused dental insurance “funds”. “If you don’t use it, you lose it”. Let me just start saying that I am very impressed by Dr. Ahmad who from here on will be my dentist. This was my first visit to Roach Family Dentistry. I found the place to be clean with friendly staff. I was recommended to Dr. Waqas Ahmad and he has to be one of the best dentist around. He is absolutely phenomenal! Hands down Roach Family Dentistry in Nashville is top-notch. I and my husband Charles became new patients within 1 week of booking our appointments. From the very first phone call, we were greeted and respected which is very important to us. We would like to shout out to Amanda, Darren, Kila, and Kasma for being so kind and helpful with everything that was needed. Dr Ahmad is an amazing dentist who goes above and beyond to make sure his patients receive the best dental care. He is extremely knowledgeable and listens patiently to your concerns and then recommends treatment. I highly recommend Dr Ahmad for your dental care.
I had to return after my apt for a filing to remove an object that they left between my teeth. I would recommend Roach Family Dental. I was told my by the staff that my visit would be covered at 80%, instead it was covered at 60%. The numbers that I was told also differed from what the insurance company told me.
Dr. Ahmad took GREAT CARE of me. Dr Ahmad offers everything a patient could wish for. He is SKILLED-immediately recognized a root canal issue. He is TRUSTWORTHY- made sure I could see the issue myself on an x-ray. He is COMPASSIONATE- made sure I was pain free during my procedures. He is GENEROUS - took time to listen to all questions, provided clear answers, and gave extra advice about oral health. Thoroughly professional, 5 stars.
I had 5 teeth removed. They asked what pharmacy I wanted to pickup my pain meds from and I told them. I double checked before leaving when and where. Pharmacy had no record and the dentists office was closed. I left a message on their voicemail. They never called me back. Turns out they sent it to a different pharmacy other than the one agreed on. Over 24 hours in agonizing pain. Even prison dentists make sure you get some pain meds and aren’t cruel due to incompetence. Not what I would of hoped from an expensive Green Hills... read more
Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. They have extended hours and are open Saturdays. I can't say enough good things about this place!
