I had a nice experience and my expectations were on point- Tiara did a GREAT job on my cut and color and needs to applauded, (not only did Tiara do a wonderful job, she also demonstrated creativity and professionalism while I was in her chair) however, my poor sister was left waiting in reception for close to an hour! There was no sense of urgency on her behalf or offering of other services (Aveda is known for their scalp massages, hand massages, etc) while she wait as they were overbooked, but nothing was offered. I completely understand students are performing these spa treatments and it's a learning process. However there is a huge difference between that and physically hurting a client. Which the student who performed my facial did to me. First the student tried to tell me I don't have blackheads and I clearly do... Then she attempted to perform extractions using her fingers(which I believe all spas should implement use of comedone extractors in order to minimize possible skin damage)..
