Great guy and a good analyst of illness as mentioned I've been going to him for almost 30 years. That tells you something don't you think.
Dr. Hays is too busy to see you. You get a different practitioner every time. He doesn't appear to be a sincere doctor anymore since the office runs on how many people can be seen in one day. Office staff doesn't answer the phones, you have to leave a message. Even if you have been on medication for a long time and your doing well, they make you come in for refills. Of course to get more money.
I've seen Dr. S. three times and was always disappointed. Schottlander is always bored, makes little eye contact, doesn't ask questions, won't put together a treatment plan, and once sent me off with incorrect information. I ended up very, very, sick and my other PA and my neurologist got me on a medication and pulled me through that. Morally and ethically I cannot refer him to anyone. His staff couldn't get scripts called in or referrals faxed, either, constant problems. Switched PCPs.
Dr. Martinez has been my doctor for more than 15 years, I have never had a problem with him, very responsible with his knowledge and I consider him as a friend, always concerned with my problems and he treats me with great professionalism, I think that in 50 years He has been the best family doctor I have ever had.
Sold practice with no prior notice to patient's cancelled my appointment then refused to see me with PA ..even out of network I was left to find a Dr and have never even got my medical records it's been months now!!
Dr. Coleman listens and evaluates the whole patient, not just certain aspects.
Zero stars!!! I have posted several reviews about my terrible experiences with this office. I am bloody well trying to leave it is so bad. I found a new pediatrician for my kids and have been requesting the records from Dr. Hays' office since 9/23/2021. They are still nowhere to be found. The pediatrician's office and I have called repetedly and requested that the records be sent over, but you rarely ever talk to anyone at Hays' office and the office personnel NEVER EVER return calls. ABSOLUTELY WORST! If I could give zero stars I would. I have been going here for many years and the only time I saw Dr. Hays was my very first visit, after that it was PA after PA and no doctor. I hang in there because I did not want to hop skip and jump with doctors and also the PA was not bad but still I was paying for a doctor and getting PA services. I have been going to Dr Hay’s for over 23 years! I love him! He is caring and informative! Both my husband & myself are extremely happy with Dr Hay’s and his staff!
