Had an appointment booked for an in person tour. Was told once I got there in person wasn’t possible and was going to be shown the same photos as online. Showed me the photos for the wrong unit and when I asked about the unit I was interested in I was told it was sold the week before even before I made the appointment for that unit. Do not rent with this company.
Here is my unfortunate experience: Noisy construction 6 days a week. Ants and roaches Only a view of an ugly new building a stones throw away. Frequently Flooded underground parking Vandals everywhere Kitchen drain is not properly vented so it’s always backing up.
building isn't cleaned regularly. my lease states garbage rooms are cleaned daily but my floor has some pigs who don't know how to use the chute and their garbage will sit in there for up to 4 days. common areas meant to be cleaned daily will have dirt, mud and garbage laying around for 2-3 days at a time. the parking garage is supposed to be cleaned daily, but really they have a company come in once a year and you have to find somewhere to park your car. if you listen to the office on where to park, you will likely come out... read more
Do not rent here. They tried to increase the rent despite paying less property tax. The city caught it, audited them and forced them to give us a reduction. Not two weeks later, all the washers and dryers went up in price. Homestead does not care about you, or the fact that you want to call this place home. You are dollar signs to them and they will chase you out instead of making you feel at home
Homestead is horrible to deal with. Everything’s always broken (washers, elevators, ect) often bodily fluid in elevators ( urine or blood) and fire alarm goes off all the time which scares the hell out of everyone’s pets. Plus they’re upping rent soon. Avoid like the plague!
