I want to start by saying I genuinely love my Rivian. However, my experience with the El Segundo Service Center has been consistently frustrating. I currently have two open recalls — one of which included a message from Rivian instructing me not to have passengers in the back seat until it was resolved. In addition, I’ve had ongoing suspension issues that have required multiple visits and still are not fully resolved because the issue keeps returning. Top notch company with some amazing people and spectacular service. I won’t shed a tear for finally ridding myself of my Fisker Ocean One - huge thanks to Rivian for helping facilitate everything and for Eve for going above and beyond. Can’t wait to get an R2!
I brought my car in in a scheduled date, only to have it sit there for over one week with no work done on it. After a week they ran a diagnostic and now I’m told they need another week for the part to arrive. No information as to what was wrong with the car. I have to ask questions. This is unacceptable on so many levels and such a let down for a luxury company.
This was a Test Drive at a Pop Up. My family and I had the opportunity to test The 2026 R1S 7 seater. Here’s the thing about it being classified as a 7 seater vehicle. It’s not! The third row seating area is virtually inaccessible to anyone, not even a child can use it. The seat is flush with the floor so you have no space for your legs and your feet to go. I would give zero stars if possible. I had Rivian Mobile service appt on Tuesday. I waited 5 hours & they never showed up. Also, never contacted me or replied to my messages on App. Called service department & I was told someone would call me right back….That never happened either!
