BEWARE – I was referred to Dr. Rives for painful hemorrhoids... Dr. Rives seemed confident (overly so), and preformed a Hemorroidectomy on me. His bedside manners were below human standards. When I asked him how the procedure went, he replied, "Perfect, what else would you expect?" The procedure was poorly done, complications arose, and when I followed up with Rives, he sat me down for a "drug intervention." try to get more money from you – My 1st visit lasted 5mins($45+insur).I have simple hemorrhoid (age under30). Dr. Shafi sent me to colonoscopy. Would've been $300more. I went to a general practitioner, who diagnosed me much more thorough during the initial visit. I was prescribed suppositories that got me cured. I felt like Dr. Shafi just trys to charge you much.
