Rachel Werner was my therapist at Riverwalk Psychiatry, and she is fantastic! She loves what she does, and it truly shows. During my time as her client, I learned many effective DBT skills that have helped me manage my emotions better, deal with stress in healthier ways, increase my mindfulness, and improve my personal relationships. I’ve been to a lot of psychiatrist and none of them come near the quality of care I received with Teresa Robinson, and her care team at Riverwalk Psychiatry. She offers gene site testing, which helps you figure out which meds metabolize best in your body and she will even break down and translate what the report says so you have a better idea of how your body functions. It is hard to put into words what a difference Teresa at Riverwalk Psychiatry has made in our lives when it comes to our youngest daughter. After years of dealing with multiple issues on top of having a child with a complex medical diagnosis, we felt defeated; it appeared as if there was no relief for our daughter or for our family as a whole. Riverwalk Psychiatry is fantastic! The ladies are great! I feel welcomed when I walk in and checked before I even see Teresa who is double fantastic. If I have needed to call in the girls hear me and get the message back quickly and im taken care of in a timely manner thats unbelievable. Or maybe I was just neglected at the other place. Teresa is fabulous! From our first meeting I felt validated and understood. I didn’t feel like she pushed medication on me, but was also open about my options. Great option if you’re coming to terms with ADHD struggles as an adult. The Receptionist is lovely, as well! Overall very calm, quiet office.
