We had an amazing anniversary dinner! The food was so delicious and our waiter was very attentive �
I took.my husband and father here to celebrate Fathers Day. The service was appropriately attentive and helpful. We never felt pressured or rushed to complete our meal. Our food was perfectly prepared and the desssrrt was almost too pretty to eat. If I were to have any criticism it would be that the hostess was a little slow to deal with guests arriving and we could have done with just a little more sauce with the meals, but these are trivial items and would not interfere with me giving them the highest of ratings.
One of the people at my table was not happy with their kobe steak because it was super fatty. Personally I ordered shepards pie (which I believe shouldn't even be on a fine dining restaurants menu) and it was average. I enjoyed it of course. But in no way was it worth the price; and I've been to quite a few real nice establishments that WERE worth the price. Waiting time was too long. We went for a romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Arrived at 6:30. I was surprised that the few people there were talking so loud. The service was extremely slow, the food was beautiful, but overpriced and not very good. It mentioned that it was served with Yoshida's Gourmet Sauce. I didn't expect it to be swimming in it. It was so salty I couldn't eat it. The topper was a very loud boisterous man running all over the restaurant acting like he owned the place. Turns out he did. I Won't Go Back.
Excellent meal in a very nice setting. Perfect service and our server, Peter, was on point, very courteous, and took amazing care of us. We were using a Groupon and they still treated us like everyone else...we will be going back! My only suggestion would be getting Guinness on tap instead of a can! 😀
Best food I have had in the greater Portland Metro area. Portions were ample and the service was outstanding.
