Lady told us not to worry about booking a taxi to the airport and that she could take us and in the morning she was rude and kicked us out and just left us with no transport
Arrived at this hotel at 11pm for an early flight the next day to find the carpets had been dry cleaned that day and the room stank of dry cleaning fluid and was uninhabitable. Totally disinterested management. No other rooms available anywhere.
The bed was small, not big enough for 2 people, the area is noisy, so didn't get much sleep. The only reason I booked this motel was the free airport shuttle but after waiting 20 minutes at 6am in the cold, another woman called an Uber and we went with her. Not worth it!
Have been staying here for 4 years, for 1 night stopover, before flying out NZ early morning. Very basic, accommodation, but suited us for proximity to airport, and walking distance of 8 mins to Hamilton Hotel, 15mins to shopping centre,. Room always clean and tidy, recently has had a spruce up, new paint, curtains etc, manageress, always courteous and ready to please, and a bonus was free transport by van to airport. We give them a 10, Thx
