We were assigned to Palliative Care when my husband was weak and couldn't make doctor's appointments and they turned us over to Hospice Care. We sold our home in Rock Hill moved to Lancaster, SC. My mother was under the care of Riverview Hospice for two years. In the beginning, when her needs were minimal—typically just weekly check-ins to monitor vitals—the care was sufficient. However, during the final weeks of her life, when she required consistent, compassionate, and comprehensive support, the experience drastically declined. I would like to thank the Riverview Team for all they did to make my mother as comfortable as possible. Not only did the team treat my mom’s medical needs but they went over and beyond to make sure that she was comfortable. They even took time to sing to her. I'm so thankful for the team at Riverview Hospice and Palliative. They provided outstanding care for my grandfather in his final months of life. We began using them for Palliative services only. As time and dementia progressed they became the natural fit for Hospice services. Tish and her staff were outstanding. Any time we needed anything they were there with smiles on and answers at hand.
