First of off not only am I an EMT who has transferred many adolescents to this facility, but in the last week my own child was sent here. He was admitted on a Wednesday afternoon, admission was absolutely wonderful and easy , what I wasn't pleased with was the fact my child was being treated via phone from the psychiatrist who never laid eyes or evaluated my son. This place wasn't that bad but low-key I didn't like it because all you did was watch movies and be forced to do stuff you don't want to. They didn't even enforce rules and kids cussed and bit their skin off while I was there. This one kid literally had highly inappropriate interactions twice while I was there. The techs don't watch over you they just sit in the glass room and listen to music and stuff. They don't ever check for self harm or anything and they give access to salt and ice which you can use to self harm. Over a... read more

I was here for about 2 weeks at best and if im being honest it was fun and not at the same time I really love the teacher for the young kids I think her name was sandy or something I dont know but she was really kind and trustworthy. This place doesn't have the best food which is hard since they keep track of how you eat but how am I supposed to eat if its nasty?
