Use to be great local dentist office. Been coming here for years since they were within my insurance network. Was pleasant coming here and two crowns they put on still in place. But here is reason why I'm giving one star. I went to routine check/clean up February and almost 3 weeks later, they tells me I have to pay deductible??? They had new dentist worked on me who is NOT in my insurance network without checking with me if it was okay. Now they been calling me to pay $86 as deductible? $86 to clean my teeth. Dr. Kim and all the folks at River Top Dental in Oradell made me feel relaxed and confident in their assessment and protocols. I'm an older person, just turned 60 in 2024, and I had not been to a dentist since 2015, needless to say after the pandemic I had built up a block with getting back to a dentist regularly. When I came here as a teen, Dr. Lee would rather have his students fix my braces rather than doing it himself; they kept coming loose or breaking off my teeth every week or two. I have also told him about my teeth hurting and cavities, but he seemed to never care or listen to me. He would just tell me that he would fix it later; later would never come. My experience here was horrible and financially draining.
