Every single person who works at Riverton Hospital Wound Care Clinic is AWESOME! This is not an easy job. In my case the only way to help hurt! They were so good to explain what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and what the expected outcome would be. It takes time, many visits, some tears, and lots of bandages! I will always be grateful for the incredible care I have received and continue to receive. They are the best!! Hats off to the “professional scab pickers” 😁
I have been going to the Wound Clinic at IMC Riverton Hospital since December 5th, 2024, for an injury I sustained in October. Today is 1/1/25. I've had to go 3 to 2 times a week for treatment. They've been using negative pressure wound therapy (basically a vacuum system) for a deep wound on my leg. This treatment has worked and my wound is basically healed! I was referred to the wound clinic by my podiatrist for a foot ulcer that had gotten worse then he was able to treat. The service and treatment that I received is second to none and the physicians and staff that treated me were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this wound clinic for anyone who is in need of special treatment… they are fantastic!
Following foot surgery 3 weeks prior…I saw my surgical site was red and swollen…went to an ER was looked at blood drawn and sent Home with Antibiotics!! Two days later still looks bad I contacted Riverton Hospital Wound Care. The whole Team there are professionals at their jobs!! I can’t say enough good about Dr.Sydney and his team…Dr. Sydney cleaned the wound all up took cultures. They took this as serious as it actually was!!! WOW is all I can say. First time ever at IHC Riverton Wound Clinic. Lori at the front desk was so nice and happy and she got me checked in so fast. Then Felicia the nurse was so great. Professional, funny, and she made me feel so relaxed. You could tell she loves her job because of how she treated me. Tim was next and he was great too. I was referred to Riverton and it was def worth the long drive from Utah County. I look forward to returning for my follow up appt next week. Thanks to all the staff and doctors. 5+ Stars
