The "extra" phone number 693-8819 is NOT hospice. I've put in a request to fix this on the Yellow Pages website. 804-693-1111 is the best number or 804-693-8800 for the operator to connect you. I've not dealt with the Hospice yet, but, I wanted this information to be posted.
STAY AWAY, THE BEDS ARE FULL OF BED BUGS , AND IF YOU NEED MEDICATION YOU MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT FOR DAYS BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY HAVE TO ORDER EVERY THING FROM OUT OF TOWN. OR THE NURSE DOING MEDS HAS GONE TO LUNCH AND SHE HAS THE KEY TO MED BOX WITH HER.I THOUGHT THAT WAS A BIG NO-NO. THE KEY IS TO BE SIGNED OVER TO SOMEONE ELSE. I WOULD NEVER HAVE SOME ONE I CARED ABOUT HAVE TO SPEND ANY TIME THERE. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED.
I don't know how a facility such as Riverside Health Systems run a medical office as poorly as this one is run. When you call you go through a maze of automated prompts. It is almost impossible to speak to someone that has a pulse. If a live person should answer the phone you are place on hold for 5 minutes or more! They place you on hold and often leave you there!
