Very bad service, people working in the office not respectful treating us badly. Apartments full of cockroaches and mice. Elevators are broken from time to time. As I moved out yesterday I want to add that the rude people in the office think they are controlling us not the building and they treat us badly according to that forgetting we residents all educated people with high level undergraduate or graduate degrees way way above them. Yannie, who is the property manager is the most sweetest, caring, and attentive manager I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with. I had lost my keys and was locked out of my apartment and Yannie dropped everything she was doing to ensure I could gain access to my apartment again and that I was okay in the mean time (meaning offering me water, snacks, a place to relax). Riverside has been home for quite a few years now, both as a Rutgers student and as a working professional. I remember how difficult it was to find enough information about this place before moving, so I wanted to share my experience in hopes it might help others. The community here mainly consists of Rutgers students and young professionals, though other families and residents are friendly as well.
