Great location being close to town, but also right on Fish Hook River. Kristina and Matt are so friendly and so helpful. My family got stuck up there for an extra two nights with car troubles and they were able to get us set up in a bigger room for the duration of our stay. They keep the property clean and ready for kids to run and play around. We are excited to go back and try some of their water activities when the weather gets nicer.
This is a great place to stay. We rented a smaller "studio" sized cabin. Two of us and a large dog. It was a little tight quarters but for $50 bucks a night it was perfect. No kitchen area but there was a BBQ outside, it's all we needed to make our meals. The caretakers were super cool, even helped me chase down my dog when she chewed through her tether. I'm sorry guys I forgot your names....this is Gracies parents. Thank you for the great stay. I'd highly recommend staying here, I know I will be staying there again.
Our cabin #7 was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We were greeted when we arrived by one of the managers and they were very attentive to our needs. We hope to visit next year.
I brought my mom to visit her hometown the 18th - 21st and our stay couldn't have been better. Kristina & Matt were so understanding & helped so much in making my mother (mobility issues & signs of dementia) comfortable. From helping her get the best view possible of the Fish Hook river by moving us to cabin 8 to providing outdoor seating. They helped to make what could be her last visit to Park Rapids as smooth & comfortable as possible. The memories made during our stay mean the world to me.
Cozy. Quiet. Beautiful little spot on the river. Close to a cute downtown with nice little specialty shops. Beautiful State Park less than 1/2 hour away. Friendly host who made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
