I got a call from Dr Scotts receptionist today to say they're canceling my new patient appointment Monday because I was seen previously at VCU and they think VCU can help me more. I told them I havent seen VCU for ortho stuff in 2+ years, wasnt happy with the care I had then, dont want to see or talk to VCU again, and that my Riverside primary Dr referred me to them to establish care/be reassessed and come up with a new plan. I had a great experience with the front desk staff, the X-ray technician, and the nursing team. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. My experience with Dr. Scott, however, was challenging. While he is clearly knowledgeable, his bedside manner felt impatient and very narrative-driven. I almost walked out immediately.
