Had a recent visit to the urgent care for a basic treatment. I get the bill for the visit and see that they had did additional lab work I never authorized, didn’t know that they had done and was not informed that they would be doing.
Not a SCAN Health Care approved location, despite them saying they were on the phone. Showed up, 78 minute wait, then informed "We're not SCAN approved, so we'll need to charge you $250 to be seen." This is stuff that should be visible in the lobby prior to check in. And your staff should have the knowledge of who you do and don't take PRIOR when answering the phone calls.
Wonderful staff who show up and care and are very communicative. I came in with food poisoning and their treatment was 10/10. I am so thankful for the nurses and doctors who treated me. I can't recall all their names but Dr. T, Esmerelda, and Claudia were absolute wonders This place can get busy and have up to 3-4 hour wait. They see patients based on severity so expect that someone who may have checked in after you could be seen before you.
